I’ve been using tarts sensors for a while now, and I am trying to use the ESP8266 to send my tarts values to Blynk. Had a rough time to do this, however I manage to make a central hub which send all the info to the blynk server, and at the same time, show the data locally on a 3.5″ TFT display. However, when I tried adding the open-close sensor, when the door is closed, i get the following error:

    “SENSOR[T5YF92]: RSSI: -90 dBm, Battery Voltage: 2.99 VDC, Data: 1CONTACT | 1 | CLOSED[393295] Heartbeat timeout
    [398701] Ready (ping: 11ms).

    How can I fix this?

    Hello Jorge,

I don’t see an error there. That appears to be a data packet from the sensor to the gateway. RSSI is the signal. Battery Voltage is what it looks like. The data is saying it is in state 1, which is closed, then the timeout is saying the transmission ended.

The only thing to fix there is filtering out via software all of the data you don’t want.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Eli, what I meant was that the trigger event from the Open/Close sensor is causing my whole program to interrupt. Is there anyway to turn of the trigger event, or, someway to make my Blynk code ignore the interruption?

    Jorge
