    *bump*
    Have the same question.
I had my Python code already mostly done before the sensors came in. Now, to find out if I can call the example code from Python, with minor edits, or if I need to scrap the Python and re-write in C++…

I’m making a set of python scripts for managing a network of Tarts sensors. It’s available here: https://github.com/ByteArts/smarthome

So far it just has the capability to find and monitor a gateway connected to a serial port. It generates events whenever a sensor reports data, so you can add your own code to the events to do whatever you want.

I’m doing all the development on a Raspberry Pi3, so I know it works there, but it should work on any platform that supports Python 2.7 and serial ports.

I’ll be continuing to enhance the code over the next few months, so if you have any suggestions, let me know.

Why are you still developing in python 2.7?
