Hi, I used a routine with the wrong sensor type, after that a temperature sensor start to send error as value, how I can recover the standard config of the sensor?

    Hello Andrea,

Thank you for reaching out to Tarts.

My recommendation would be to send a default command to the sensor. Before doing that remove the battery from the sensor.

That should get it back to default, from there you should be able to reconfigure.

I just tried to remove battery for some minutes, but when restart, I read always an error as temperature value, the error was to send a open/close command to the sensor loaded as basic control type.
I think that the routine for create the basic control sensor change some parameter that the “create temperature sensor” didn’t set. I will try a default command, in documentation I found only “default calibration” but I search in source library I think I can find what I need.

Else if there is just some code, maybe used for setup new sensor I can launch directly

    Hello Andrea,

I will have to review the library and send you the proper command. What type of sensor and gateway are you using?

I’m using gateway on raspberry pi

    Wireless Temperature Sensor
Frequency: 868 MHz (Europe, Middle East, Africa and the former Soviet Union*)

    Tarts Raspberry Pi Plate

Hello Andrea, apologies for the slow response. Have you tried reassigning the Correct Sensor class to the sensor?

Yes I have a routine that work with other temperature sensors, tried with this, but when receive data i got an error under “temperature” value.

Seems that temperature sensors create procedure never set all parameters changed by other create routines.

What I’m thinking is, during manfacturing every sensor is setted or not? It’s possible to have this routine? either compiled if I can’t use the source code I can share the id.

Or someone can help me to check in the library how restore this sensor?

    Andrea
